Guar gum is made from dried guar beans. This powder can be used as a thickener, binder or emulsifier in sweet or savoury recipes and baked goods. Guar powder does not need to be heated to thicken – so great for cold dishes. It is also often used in gluten-free or vegan recipes including dairy-free ice desserts and salad dressings. This naturally gluten and grain-free organic guar powder is an off-white colour and has a light natural flavour with an earthy aroma.
