This pure 100% Raw Organic Australian Honey is sourced locally to our stores, whenever possible. Exclusively harvested from prestige forests and bushlands .
With a rich golden color and sweet aroma, this honey has a mild floral flavor that may have seasonal variations. It contains no preservatives or additives of any kind and It is carefully crafted by cold extracted and gravity strained to maintain its natural goodness. Honey is a delicious and versatile sweetener for beverages, raw or baked goodies, or as an ingredient in sweet or savory dishes. Pure honey in stores is usually pasteurized, heated to 60°C for 30 mins, and rapidly cooled. The idea is to kill off yeasts and some bacteria, but the side effect is that it won’t crystalize easily. Crystallization is a natural process and not a sign of adulteration or spoilage. Due to its physical properties,  the raw and unfiltered honey initially tends towards natural crystallization, as it is a supersaturated sugar solution. Honey is mainly comprised of two sugars: fructose and glucose.
